Purpose and access

Nest Camera Dashboard is a private, self-hosted application used by its owner. It uses Google's Smart Device Management service only after the owner grants permission to access selected Nest devices.

Google user data

The application may access authorized device names, device metadata, supported camera capabilities, and temporary live-stream session data. This information is used only to identify the owner's cameras and display requested live video.

Storage and sharing

OAuth credentials are stored on the owner-controlled HouseBrain server. The application does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or disclose it to unrelated third parties. Live video is not intentionally recorded or retained by this dashboard.

Revoking access

The owner may revoke access at any time through their Google Account or Google Nest Partner Connections settings. Revocation prevents future access by the dashboard.
